Using Group Policy for Windows 11 Pro, Enterprise, or Education

Open the Start menu and search for gpedit.msc

Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Biometrics > Facial Features

Right click Configure enhanced anti spoofing and select Edit

Choose Enabled and click Apply then  OK

Restart your computer

Using Registry Editor Advanced users only

Always back up your registry before making changes 

Open the Start menu and search for Registry Editor

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft

Right click Microsoft, select New > Key, and name its Biometrics

Right click Biometrics, select New > Key, and name it Facial Features

Right click Facial Features, select New > DWORD (32 bit) Value, and name it Enhanced Anti Spoofing

Double click Enhanced Anti Spoofing and set the value to 1

Restart your computer




To disable the protection using the registry, either set the Enhanced Anti Spoofing value to 0 or delete the Biometrics folder.
