 How to Get Back the Old Discord UI Even After the New Update

If you have recently opened Discord and felt like something was off, you're not alone. Discord has rolled out a new UI (user interface), and not everyone’s loving the change. While older methods like Venod used to help bring back the classic layout, they no longer work or so it seems.

Good news  there's still a way to restore the old Discord UI .Here’s a step by step guide to get that familiar look and feel back.

Restore the Old Discord UI on Your PC

Close Discord

Before making any changes, make sure you completely close the Discord app on your computer.

Download WCON Installer

Open your browser and search for Venod.

Click the Download button on the official site.

Find the option that says Download WCON Installer and click it.

Once downloaded, run the installer.

Click Install when prompted.

After installation, you should see a message confirming that WCON (Venod) is successfully installed.

Verify WCON Installation in Discord

Reopen the Discord app on your PC.

Click the Settings (gear icon) next to your profile.

In the sidebar, you’ll now see a new option: Venod (or WhenCord).

If you see this — awesome. You're ready for the final steps.

Apply the Old Discord Theme

Open your browser again and search for OldCord theme.

Look for the GitHub link and click it.

Scroll down to the installation section.

Under the Venod method, copy the theme link https://milbits.github.io/oldcord/src/main.css provided.

Apply Theme via Venod

Go back to Discord.

Under the Venod tab, click on Themes.

You’ll see two options: Local Themes and Online Themes.

Click on Online Themes.

Paste the copied link into the input box.Click outside the box to confirm.

Boom — the old Discord UI is now back.
